About The Event
Line-up for Thursday 20 September:
Jarred Christmas - Host
Jarred Christmas is an award-winning comedian, actor and writer hailing from New Zealand. Having built his career on the UK comedy circuit, he has appeared on TV shows including Russell Howard's Good News, Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 Cats, Dave’s One Night Stand, Let’s Dance for Comic Relief, CBBC’s The Joke Machine, and performs in the very best comedy clubs and theatres throughout the world.
With two decades of headline experience to his name, Ben Norris is a master of his craft with an amazing ability to improvise. As well as performing throughout the UK and internationally, he is a regular headliner at London’s Comedy Store and comedy fans will know him from appearances on MTV, Mock the Week, QI and Nevermind the Buzzcocks.
'The term "circuit legend" is overused, but Norris is one of a handful that have been headlining for more than two decades and rarely departs a stage without leaving it torn to shreds in his wake. A master of the craft' GQ Magazine
TV and Radio regular, best-selling author and headliner at London’s world famous Comedy Store, Ian lives in rural France and commutes back to the UK every week for work. At least, that’s how things have been. What with ‘events’, that fragile way of life looks rockier by the day and has made Ian an unwitting, but witty, expert in UK and European visa, travel, trade agreements and UK-EU bickering. His sharp, entertaining punditry can be seen regularly on Dave’s satirical TV show Unspun, Channel 5’s topical Comedy Big Mouths, and TRT World’s weekly dissection of the news, Nexus. Ian is also a regular on BBC 5Live’s Fighting Talk and BT Sport’s The Football’s On, and a sometime co-host and regular guest on TalkSport’s The Warm Up. He is also a best-selling author.
